Photo Booth Hire Marlow

We added casino themed backgrounds to our green screen photo booth last night for James’ 30th birthday held at the MacDonald Compleat Angler Marlow ( They had a disco, three casino tables, bacon butties and lots of alcohol !

The MacDonald Compleat Angler Marlow was built sometime before 1658. The Hotel was run by a family until five years ago when it was taken over by Trust House Forte. It was first called The Waterside Inn, when an author called Izaac Walton wrote a book while he was staying there called The Compleat Angler, and so it was renamed in 1659.

The facilities available for the guests are tennis courts, a helicopter launching pad, twenty four hour food services and a valet service. President Ford and President Carter have both stayed there, Ali McGraw spent over £6000 when she spent a holiday there and the Queen once dined here with the president of Hungary.

Located on the banks of the River Thames with unparalleled views of the Marlow Weir in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Sometimes you can see rowing Olympians train on the River as part of the nearby Marlow Rowing Club. Just outside the hotel is an arc of falling water: the weir at Marlow. It’s a charming sight: foaming river spilling over shallow walls; church and elegant 1832 suspension bridge; enviable waterside houses with their boat houses; great weeping beech on the opposite bank, green lawns below. However, the church clock was chiming at midnight which might get on your nerves if trying to get a good night’s sleep

Marlow is well known amongst foodies and the brand new restaurant Sindhu at the hotel is the latest venture from Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar, which opened it’s doors in November 2014.  This exciting restaurant offers diners the very best of traditional Indian cuisine created in a contemporary manner. The MacDonald Compleat Angler Marlow has also invested significantly in their Riverside restaurant, adorned with three AA rosettes for outstanding food and quality service.  Not to mention a breathtaking view across the River Thames.  it’s an experience that you won’t want to miss during your stay in Marlow.
